“To send a letter is a good way to go somewhere without moving anything but your heart.” -Phyllis Theroux
What a deal!
Here it is, plain and simple. I love people. And I love uncovering stories about how different you all are, and finding out about your passions and dreams for your life. It’s kinda how I’m going to make a living. But… in order to uncover these intricate details about someone, the two must have a working relationship. In order to have a working relationship, well, you the two need to be able to trust one another. In order to trust someone, you have to know they care, will build you up and encourage you regardless of current circumstances. So I will start there.
In the midst of taking classes, working in NYC, riding the subways, learning and growing as a person, and everything else on top of that – I’m constantly thinking about the outside world. And how I can lend a hand in encouraging you…
1 Thessalonians 5:11: “Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing…”
So for the month of February, I pledge my pen and paper to you. If you would like an NYC postcard, email or note of encouragement:
